Microsoft clamp-down on XBOX ONE Restrictions

Microsoft have just announced their changes due to their 'angry customers' The XBOX ONE was second favourite at E3.

XBOX ONE set to come out later this year.

People hated the idea you couldn't send and share games to and with your friends because of restrictions on the disks to only work on one console. So now you can lend, share and resell your games knowing that the person on the other end won't be dissapointed.

Another major change that I think is a winner is the fact you do not need internet connection to play games, which was silly in the first place! You should be able to play in freedom and because of loyal Microsoft customers they have adapted to suit the needs of the target market.

In my opinion this is going to put more pressure on the PS4 which is also set to release sometime this year but £80 cheaper is a good deal. Which console would you much rather?

High Tech socks as wearable Gadgets? Find out more!

Hey,

Okay so I was browsing around and suddenly these 'smart socks' pop up and I'm like wooah wait a minute. I mean who could of come up with such a crazy but clever idea? That answer is Heapsylo. They say their
socks could prevent running injuries and other foot-related problems. This will be huge in training for athletes but is that all it can do?

Yes, but the idea is clever, at least I think it is.

How does it work? There apparently are these sensors that then connect via bluetooth to a smartphone to say if they need to change their stride or pace to help prevent an injury in your foot. They also say these socks could warn carers if eldery patients are losing their balance and are at risk of falling.

The boss of Heapsylo says  "we want to become the GoreTex of embeddable computing"

I can see it working really well for medical and sporting purposes but many people just might not be interested. This consept is only a prototype but will hopefully get fundraising to produce it in the market at a later date.

I really like this idea and do you? Tell me below in the comments! Thanks

PS3 update triggers console fault

PS3 update triggers console fault,

Sony have said how the 4.45 system update has caused people's on screen navigation to vanish. Sony say only a few consoles around the world have been affected.

They advise users to "Await further instructions and a downloadable system update rather than try to fix the issue" and apologise for the inconvenience.

Thinnest Smartphone yet 2013 - Ascend P6

Huawei has just unveiled what is now the world's thinnest smartphone!

It's just 6.18mm, 0.24inch thick, and has a 5mega pixel front facing Camera. Compared to 7.6mm for the iPhone 5. I think this is great but what other specs are there?

  • A 1.5GHz quad core processor
  • A lower amount than most smartphones - 8gb of internal storage but can be increased to 32gb
  • Latest Android Jelly Bean operating system 4.2.2
  • Weighs a bit more than the iPhone 5 at 120g (0.26)lb
  • 3G network
  • 8mp rear camera
  • 2gb of Ram
So it's not that bad for being the thinest phone but it's limited to a 3G network and I think that will lower sales but costing only £380 (€449) for a SIM-Free phone it's quite good considering how much they have managed to pack in the thinnest phone in the world. In terms of contracts expect about £25 a month, around €27.

It's release date is set at July in 19 countries including Australia, Spain, UK, China and Italy so do I think it's worth the money?

Yes I do, mainly, it's amazing how much they have in that phone and it looks quite stylish. A 8mp rear camera is easily enough for the happy snapper and a 1.5GHz processor it will easily withstand most games. It has the option to add extra storage and is much cheaper than the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4. But I don't know whether this is the phone that does miracles for Huawei.

Tell me what you think below about the phone. Like it or not please post a comment! Thanks
